Position Overview
 
Yudrio is seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to support a mission-critical federal Salesforce implementation. This role will provide technical leadership across solution design, Salesforce architecture, integrations, security, data model design, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, release planning, and platform governance.
The Salesforce Architect will work closely with federal stakeholders, product owners, business analysts, developers, QA testers, Scrum Masters, project leadership, and client technical teams to ensure the Salesforce solution is scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business and mission requirements.
This role requires someone who can translate complex business needs into sound Salesforce architecture, guide delivery teams through implementation, and provide hands-on technical direction when needed.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions using Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, custom objects, flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, and platform automation.
  • Partner with business analysts and product owners to validate requirements, identify gaps, and ensure user stories are technically ready for development.
  • Provide technical direction to Salesforce developers, administrators, QA testers, and integration resources.
  • Review solution designs, technical specifications, data models, integration patterns, security models, and release plans.
  • Ensure Salesforce architecture aligns with federal security, privacy, accessibility, and compliance requirements.
  • Design and review Salesforce sharing and visibility models, including profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, queues, Experience Cloud users, and external access controls.
  • Support Experience Cloud architecture, including authenticated portal users, page access, record access, navigation, branding, and portal security.
  • Support Service Cloud architecture, including case management, workflows, assignment rules, queues, notifications, escalations, and service processes.
  • Provide guidance on declarative versus programmatic solutions, including Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, validation rules, approval processes, and integration approaches.
  • Evaluate technical impacts of change requests, defects, enhancements, and release scope decisions.
  • Support Agile delivery by participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, design sessions, demos, and release readiness reviews.
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies, performance concerns, security gaps, and architectural tradeoffs.
  • Support integration design with external systems, APIs, document management systems, identity providers, and reporting platforms.
  • Review code, configuration, and deployment artifacts to ensure quality and maintainability.
  • Support DevOps, environment management, deployment planning, and release governance.
  • Help establish and enforce Salesforce development standards, naming conventions, configuration standards, and documentation practices.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to project leadership and client stakeholders on Salesforce platform decisions.
Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of Salesforce experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a Salesforce Architect, Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Lead Developer role.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud / Community Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data modeling, security, automation, integration, and release management.
  • Experience designing Salesforce solutions for complex enterprise or government environments.
  • Experience with Salesforce security architecture, including profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, restriction rules, field-level security, object-level security, and Experience Cloud user access.
  • Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, validation rules, custom objects, reports, dashboards, and Salesforce configuration.
  • Experience supporting Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation guidance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Active Salesforce certification required, or willingness to obtain/maintain Salesforce certification as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, Sharing and Visibility Architect, Integration Architect, Data Architect, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, or Platform Developer certification.
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect preferred but not required.
  • Experience supporting federal government Salesforce implementations.
  • Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud or Government Cloud Plus.
  • Experience with FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, ATO, Section 508, or other federal compliance requirements.
  • Experience with CI/CD and Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado.
  • Experience with document generation, document management, e-signature, or external storage integrations.
  • Experience with complex case management, claims processing, workflow automation, or customer/constituent portal solutions.
  • Experience reviewing user stories, acceptance criteria, technical designs, and test plans.
  • Experience mentoring Salesforce developers and administrators.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a senior Salesforce Architect who can provide both strategic architecture leadership and practical delivery support. This person should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced federal project environment, making sound design decisions, identifying technical risks early, and helping the team deliver high-quality Salesforce functionality across releases.
The candidate should be able to challenge unclear requirements, simplify overly complex designs, protect the integrity of the platform, and ensure that the solution remains secure, scalable, and maintainable over time.
